When do you need storage?
Storage solves the gap when you have to leave your old home before you can move into the new one.
- Your leases don’t end and start on the same day
- Handover dates in a home sale and purchase don’t match
- Your new home is still being renovated
- You are moving abroad or to another town for a while
How storage works
Storage is two moves with a pause in between:
- We collect your belongings from your old home on the agreed day.
- We store them for the agreed period.
- We agree a delivery day once your new home is ready.
- We deliver and carry everything into the agreed rooms.
Packing for storage
Belongings going into storage should be packed more carefully than for a short move. Label boxes clearly and keep a list of what each box contains. Keep anything you need during the storage period separate.

What does storage cost?
The price is made up of collection, storage and delivery. The storage charge depends on the amount of belongings and the period. Tell us the size of your home and the expected storage period, and we will put it all in one quote.
How long can my belongings be stored?
The storage period is agreed in the quote. Tell us the expected period and we will plan collection and delivery around it.
Can I get items back during storage?
Mention it in your quote request and we will agree how individual items can be fetched if needed.
Do I have to pack everything myself?
You can pack yourself or book our packing service. Belongings for storage are packed in boxes and furniture is protected.
What can’t go into storage?
Food, plants, flammable liquids and hazardous substances are not stored. Keep valuables and documents with you.
